Fun times with a box car ride after a trip to Costco…

So I finally got the giraffe ears I ordered for Halloween (like two months ago) in the mail. So now they’re a fun dress up toy and a big hit in our house. Here are some pics…

We’re up in Sacramento visiting the Sanders for Halloween weekend! We’re having a really fun time…it’s super chaotic and more than a bit hectic, but so much fun to see the boys play together! They have so much fun…poking each other in the ear, giggling, running around chasing each other, snuggling on the couch watching tv. They are sooo cute! And dressed up for Halloween in their little outfits…Ethan was a cowboy and Noah was a puppy…Elias was a monkey and Emme was a flower child! They were all adorable of course and loved trick-or-treating in the El Dorado hills town center. Here are a few pics from Halloween…

It’s been five years since Dale’s mom passed away. Today we went and visited her and Cecil’s grave. It’s so unbelievable that it’s been that long! Dale and I were talking that she didn’t even know we got married or anything about her two little grandchildren. It’s so sad. So much has changed. We just wish she had been around these last five years to share in all of our happiness. We miss you Pat, and keep you in our prayers and remembrances…

Today Ethan went to the pumpkin patch with his Montessori class. I tagged along…didn’t want to miss any of the fun! He got to go on a tractor ride and learn about how pumpkins grow. We fed some goats and had snack time…overall it was really fun! Best of all, we all got to pick out a pumpkin! Ethan was running around saying “I pick that one!” to every pumpkin he saw! In the end we ended up with a cute little mini pumpkin, just Ethan’s size! And we got to ride in the big yellow bus…perfect trip!
